Gillian Bexton

As Project Manager, Gillian draws from her extensive agency experience to keep VentureWeb projects on track, on time, and on budget – just the way we like it. Since being introduced to activeCollab, now our favourite 3rd party project management tool, Gill has become an enthusiastic ‘drill sergeant’ keen on writing up tickets for all of our clients in the name of organizational harmony.

Born and raised in Vancouver, Gillian spent copious amounts of her childhood skiing at Whistler and has been hooked since. After university, she drifted eastward to Calgary to engage a career in marketing and advertising, contributing in both agency and in-house account management roles. 14 years later she came to her senses and moved back to the coast, fortunately in time to welcome the world to her homeland as a volunteer for the 2010 Olympic Games.

Now three years in Squamish yet still a relative biking ‘gorbie,’ Gill has her fingers crossed that she picks up some technical riding skills from her mountain-biking colleagues at the same pace they’ve added to her understanding of the social media and online marketing realm.
