Did You Download Firefox 3 For Download Day?

I did. I had my doubts, as I watched the Mozilla site experience outages from time to time. And I had my doubts about it's security and functionality as a new browser release. But when co-worker Olly downloaded it before me and flaunted it's features in front of us, I had to go for it. Plus the guilt of having 'pledged' to download if for the world record was slowing kicking in.

First impressions? So far so good? Looks a bit too much like Safari for my liking, but the added features are pretty cool. Was there any security issues? Yes. As with any brand new release, a security patch is already required, and hopefully will be released shortly.

But by all accounts it sounds like they broke a world record, but are just waiting for the gang at the Guiness Book of World Records to review it and confirm it.
