Filterstream a Useful Trip Advisor Widget
FilterStream is a free tool that streams qualified TripAdvisor reviews to websites. The filter feature allows the user to ensure that only reviews above a certain rating are displayed. FilterStream searches through TripAdvisor’s database of over twenty million hotel reviews and seamlessly feeds consumer-generated reviews about the hotel. As new reviews about a hotel are posted, those reviews can be streamed instantly to the hotel’s or other webpages. I had a play with it and it works like a charm! This functionality certainly has useful applications for many of our DMO travel sites. I certainly had a good laugh when reading some of our our own Sea to Sky Hotel reviews. Sad but true. Particularly the expletives used! Sigh. It is amazing to consider the scale and impact that trip advisor is having on the online travel world. Check it out for yourself Filterstream
