Girls and Airplanes - VentureWeb Likes Tourism

It's no secret that we at VentureWeb world headquarters are keen on outdoor recreation, travel & tourism. From mine and Jim's education background in tourism and sports management, to Olly's unexplainable interest in 'Spirit Moon' wildlife T-shirts, we see it everywhere.

So naturally James & I headed down to the Vancouver Coast & Mountains 2008 Regional Tourism Leaders forum 2 weeks ago to keep our finger on the pulse of tourism. Joining forces with our client Tourism Squamish, we spread the good word about Squamish and already people are cluing in that there's more to Squamish than the McDonald's you see from the highway.

Lesley Weeks from Tourism Squamish invited up a group of the Vancouver girls from West 2nd Design and Vancouver Coast & Mountains, and showed them just how epic a day-in-the-life in Squamish could be. They went mountain biking, jet skiing, flight seeing, and rockclimbing, and were just buzzing with stoke at the dinner/drinks wrap up.

Did we have anything to do with it? Well no not really, but we do look forward to working with them all more in the future. And it does allow me to post this photo, proving that life at VentureWeb isn't exclusively confined to 'three dudes'.
