While over 50% of Squamish's working population apparently commutes to Vancouver or Whistler for work, the lucky few who live AND work in Squamish (aka us VentureWeb people) have it made.

First off, with VentureWeb HQ located in the Business Park behind Wendy's, we're talkin' skateboarding distance from home. Not that I do it often, but whenever my ride leaves me high and dry, it's an easy skate to or from home to the office, and hey, you even pass right by the Skatepark if you feel like bringing on some hurt.

But enough about the skateboarding, with these long nights in June & July, its all about apres-work rock climbing sessions. With 5 hrs of daylight after work, every day is like a 2-for-1 deal. There's time for a sport climbing session north at Chek or south at Murrin Park, or you can even buzz up the apron or the whole chief if you're keen!

You know... or you could spend that time driving to and from work, if that's your thing.
