The fact that they have their own Ilyushin IL-76TD transport plane was a bit of an eye opener, and a telling piece of the ANI story.
Naturally, we were very excited to partner with them and breath new life into ANI's under-performing web platform—especially after they showed us some of their stunning photo collection. Top priority was to create a user experience that demonstrated the human journey in Antarctica, and accurately reflected the vast beauty, adventure and mystique of 'the icy continent.'
VentureWeb seized the opportunity to deliver a fluid navigation to users allowing them to interact with the experiences and lose themselves in the (as you would imagine) breathtaking images. The outcome is a totally different website direction. Users are encouraged to explore and sign up for a real Antarctic experience, like those that have challenged explorers and inspired adventurers for the last two hundred years.
ANI's experiences translate to 'bucket list' material for many, and the website enables visitors to search trips by type, level of difficulty, date, or feature, or even customize their own journey of a lifetime. And in the same way these experiences are brought to life online, ANI's commitment to safety and environmental stewardship are illustrated through meaningful content and photography. Whether introducing the guide team, demonstrating sustainability practices or just showing off a cargo plane, ANI's vivid photo gallery makes you feel as though your trip has already begun.
