Banff & Lake Louise recognized as top destination by the big dogs

Lonely Planet and National Geographic have showcased Banff & Lake Louise as a top destination for 2017.

The iconic Canadian destination of Banff & Lake Louise has garnered attention recently from two of the biggest players in travel media. Lonely Planet picked Canada as the top destination in 2017 and highlighted the awe-inspiring Banff National Park. Soon after, National Geographic came out with its selection of “Best Trips 2017”, which features Banff as one of the world’s top “Nature” experiences in 2017.

VentureWeb is the digital partner of Banff & Lake Louise Tourism (the destination marketing organization for Banff National Park). Just this year we rebuilt their web presence with a brand new website featuring their revamped brand and new content.

Lonely Planet highlighted Canada’s sesquicentennial celebrations in 2017 as an extra-special reason to visit Banff & Lake Louise. Nation-wide celebrations are planned, including free entry all year to Banff National Park, as well as the rest of Canada’s national parks. National Geographic’s pick of Banff as a top “Nature” trip in 2017 focussed on its spectacular landscape and huge selection of activities and amenities. It made Banff the “perfect place to escape to for answers to life’s questions.”

Great work, Banff & Lake Louise!
